Challenge
A multi million dollar distribution client experienced total headcount turn over in the accounting and finance department upon the departure of their CFO. The company needed immediate assistance in the day-to-day accounting and finance operations as well as training for new employees.
How we helped
F&A went into the company and managed all of the day-to-day accounting and finance functions. F&A professionals developed an accounting manual and a documented streamlined process for their monthly accounting close. This would ensure that in the event of more turn over within the departments, there would be documented procedures in place for ease of transition to new employees. We also trained all of the new employees to ensure a smooth on boarding process.
Outcome
F&A was able to successfully bridge the gap in the accounting and finance departments' daily functionality providing the company with a smooth transition to the new employees. We were also able to provide the client with the proper training for their new employees to ensure the future success of the departments upon completion of our engagement.
