The team is experienced in a wide range of disciplines including accounting, tax, corporate finance, retail, IT and financial planning and analysis.
Michael Dolan - President & Founder
Mr. Dolan is F&A's founder and has a diverse background that spans over fifteen years across multiple industries such as financial services, IT, retail, e-commerce, sales, marketing and manufacturing. His superior technical skills and extensive industry knowledge allow him to efficiently analyze complex analytical problems, develop case studies and efficiently develop dynamic financial models. Mr. Dolan has successfully launched multiple retail and financial systems and has progressively advanced in his financial career while gaining invaluable industry knowledge. Prior to F&A, Mr. Dolan worked at companies of various sizes including large organizations such as Sony, mid-sized companies (Dun and Bradstreet, Footstar, Cablevision) and e-commerce start-ups. His experience is extensive and includes full P&L management, cash management, merchandising (buying and planning), inventory management, end-to-end system development, as well as SOX attestation and financial/accounting management of internal and external software development. Mr. Dolan holds a degree in public accounting from Pace University and is a member of the Financial Executive Network Group (FENG).
Kevin O'Connor, CPA - Partner of O'Connor & O'Connor, LLP
Mr. O’Connor is the founding member of O'Connor & O'Connor, LLP and is a CPA licensed in the State of New York and New Jersey. Mr. O'Connor brings over thirty years of audit, tax and accounting experience. O'Connor & O'Connor, LLP is the successor firm of Kevin J. O'Connor, CPA, founded in 1987. Prior to starting his firm, Mr. O'Connor was the Chief Financial Officer of URS Corporation, which is a prominent east coast consulting engineering firm. He has developed knowledge and expertise in the field of consulting engineering as it relates to government contracting. O'Connor & O'Connor, LLP specializes in auditing similar firms using government regulations. Mr. O’Connor holds a degree in accounting from Manhattan College and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of CPAs, and Mid-Hudson Chapter of the NYS Society of CPAs (Past President & Director).
Chris O'Connor, CPA - Partner of O'Connor & O'Connor, LLP
Mr. O’Connor is a CPA licensed in the State of New York. He became partner of O'Connor & O'Connor, LLP in 2005 and has been with his accounting firm for the past ten years. His areas of expertise are tax planning, attest services, and small business services. Mr. O'Connor has successfully developed tax plans and strategies for both individuals and various types of corporations. Small business services has proven to be an area where he truly excels where he provides services such as business formation, growth planning, sunset and buyout plans as well as dissolutions. Mr. O’Connor also provides his clients with attest services including audits, reviews and compilations. These attest services are utilized for a wide variety of purposes including banking, bonding, and both public and private requirements. Mr. O’Connor holds a degree in accounting from Ramapo College and is a member of the New York State Society of CPAs.
